The number-one cause of disability and death in the United States is cardiovascular disease.  Donations collected will contribute funds to support both basic and clinical cardiovascular research aimed at curing disease in children and adults.

MISSION: The MUSC Cardiovascular Research Fund was established to support research programs extending from basic science studies including molecular mechanisms of heart disease to patient-and disease-based translational research and clinical trials that will shape treatment of heart disease.
